Sonic Discretion started at the onset of the Pandemic. As a Music Producer, Mixing and Mastering Engineer, and Performer, I have always been a side man in the band or performing and arranging string parts on projects I am producing. When gigs dropped off the face of the earth for a while I started playing around with a pair of Roland RC300 Loopers and Ableton. My instrument rig was pretty extensive and initially between the Violin and Mandolin I had a great source of sonic pleasures, but over the years I have added Electric Sitar, Oud, and Acoustic Guitar to the arsenal. I began performing Online concerts here on StageIt.com and expanded my audience across the globe with the support of my fellow artists and friends. My entire career I have always tried to raise the sonic bar...hence the name Sonic Discretion.

SonicDiscretion is a live show by Rob Wechsler consisting of musical mixture of Alternative, Euro-Pop, Techno, Orchestral, Organic and Electronica Soundscape and Soundtrack music. Live instruments include Electric Sitar, Mandolin, Turkish Oud, Violin and Acoustic Guitars. Live Looping, tracking and performing utilizing Ableton Live, Roland RC600 Looper and multiple input sources. A mix of originals compositions and covers that have been reprogrammed and modified to twist into the flavors of the soundscapes.
I have been blessed to work with some of the greatest artists' of all time in my career. So many have influence me as a musician and a person on many levels.
As an Engineer/Producer/Mastering Engineer I have worked with the the likes of Erykah Badu, Andy Timmons, Kenny Loggins, Olivia Newton-John, Dionne Warwick, Earth Wind & Fire, Jack Ingram, Josh Kelly, The Beach Boys, Rick Derringer, Michael Bolton, Charlie Pride, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams Jr., The Dirty Heads, Loverboy, Twisted Sister, Eddie Money, Play N Skillz , Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Pit Bull, to name a few.
